Gau Seva in India
Giving Back to the Universe
Vima Jeev Seva Foundation serves Gau Mata through Mineral Salt Blocks and Calcium Salt Blocks for the nutritional care and well-being of cows across India.
What the blocks do
Salt blocks for everyday cow nutrition
We believe that everything we have is a gift from the universe. At Vima Jeev Seva Foundation, we express our gratitude through Gau Seva by contributing Mineral Salt Blocks and Calcium Salt Blocks for the nutritional care and well-being of cows.
In Indian culture and Hindu traditions, Gau Mata holds a sacred place as a symbol of motherhood, nourishment and compassion. We honour this belief by supporting cow care and promoting kindness towards all living beings.
Giving back
Everything we have is given
We see gratitude as something we practice, not only something we say. Returning a share of what the universe provides, through responsible stewardship, is how that gratitude takes a practical form for cows.
Three ways to give
Order, contribute, or join monthly
Some people will arrange the blocks themselves; others will ask us to do that on their behalf. Both are ways of giving back to the universe.
Order blocks for delivery
Place an order for Mineral Salt Blocks or Calcium Salt Blocks and have them delivered to your chosen cowshed, so you can arrange them yourself.
Contribute for us to arrange
Contribute and the Foundation arranges the bricks on your behalf, placing them in cowsheds where they are needed across India.
Join monthly support
Set aside a monthly share of 1u201310% of your income as a regular contribution to cow care across India.
